Why not own a piece of paradise?

Most visitors to Costa Rica fall in love with this beautiful country of friendly people, idyllic tropical beaches, luxuriant mountains with spring-like climates and tropical rain forests bursting with lush vegetation and animal life.

Whether it’s fishing, surfing, eco tourism or just enjoying the climate and slower pace of life, whatever the reason, many foreigners decide to own a piece of paradise, some for a vacation home, others to retire, and still others as an investment.

Why Guanacaste?  Gorgeous real estate, magnificent beaches of soft sand, oceans of turquoise, green and blue are the major draws to the region.  And, the development of the area has been done responsibly, with much respect paid to the environment, not to mention property taxes and utilities well below those of other countries.

Guanacaste’s exploding real estate market, which boasts resorts like the Four Seasons and the future home of the JW Marriot, along with smaller high end developments has returned wonderful profits for it’s owners.

In Costa Rica foreigners have the same absolute right to own real property, as do citizens; these rights are protected by the Constitution and reflected in the laws.  However, it is still necessary to ensure all transactions have been properly handled to be assured of Good Title.
