The shortest route is to take the new bridge over the Tempisque River.
- Fr
om the San Jose Airport follow the directions towards San Ramon, Puntarenas and Liberia
- After
about 120 km (73 miles) on the way to Liberia, turn LEFT at the Shell
Gas Station following the signs “Puenta de la amistad de Taiwan
- After
crossing the bridge and heading towards Nicoya, turn RIGHT on route 21
and follow the signs to Santa Cruz (you should fuel up in Santa Cruz as
there won’t be any other gas stations on the coast). There are well- stocked grocery stores and ATM machines in Santa Cruz, if you would like to stock up on groceries and cash.
- Just after exiting Santa Cruz towards Liberia, you will cross a bridge. Immediately past the bridge turn LEFT
- Follow the signs to Playa Junquillal, Pariaso and other towns
- After 17 kms on a paved road, you will cross a small bridge, and start driving in a dirt road
- At the junction turn LEFT toward 27 de April and Junquillal (NOT towards Tamarindo).
- In just about 500m turn RIGTH following signs to Playa Junquillal, Pariaso, Playa Negra, etc.
- Follow this road for about 13km ( it is in the process of being paved) which will end at the soccer field in Pariaso.
- Turn LEFT and follow this road into Junquillal
- You will see a sign for Villas Las Ventanas on the RIGHT hand side
- Turn RIGHT and you will c
ome to the main entrance
Fr
om Liberia Airport:
- Turn right out of the Airport and head down route 21 towards Santa Cruz
- You will pass through the towns of Filadelphia and Belen
- Follow
this route for about 44 kms as you near the Town on Santa Cruz you will
see a turn off on the RIGHT for beach towns and Playa Junquillal and
Pariaso. If you go over the bridge you have gone too far
(there will be a gas station on your left) simply turn around and turn
LEFT after the bridge)
- If you want to stock up on groceries, gas and cash you can go into Santa Cruz.
- *There are no gas stations on the coast – so filling up here is a good idea.
- Follow the paved road for about 17 kms
- Cross a small bridge and start driving on a dirt road (road is being paved)
- Turn LEFT at the junction toward 27 de Abril and Junquillal (NOT TAMARINDO)
- After about 500m turn RIGHT and follow signs to Playa Junquillal and Pariaso
- Follow this road for about 13 kms and it will end at the soccer field in Pariaso.
- Turn LEFT and continue on this road into Junquillal
- There will be a sign on the RIGHT hand side for Villas Las Ventanas
- Turn RIGHT and follow the road up to the main entrance of Villas Las Ventanas

Turn left after leaving the airport
Got to the t intersection and turn right
Follow that all the way to the turn of to 27 de Abril and turn right go one km and turn right
Follow that road all the way to Pariaso.
